Volunteer Workers Needed in July
With your help we will be able to complete the necessary projects that will
enable several groups to use the entire church and school starting in August. It
will take many helping hands to complete the SMART Center classrooms, sewing and
quilting room, art room, adult and student library, the youth and choir areas.
Tuesday, June 30, 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Finish hanging bulletin boards and cork strips in the classrooms, clean out the
old 6th grade room to prepare it to become the new adult and student library.
Clean grease spots in old 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classrooms to prepare for
painting.
Monday-Saturday, July 6-11, Whenever you are able during the day or evening
Paint the old 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classrooms
Someone will be needed to fill holes or cracks before painting
Paint will be provided, bring your own paint brushes and rollers
You must register with the office so that we are able to schedule painting
times.
Monday, July 13, 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Move quilter and sewing ladies into their new room
Move the student library and adult books from the Chapel into the new adult and
student library
Move shelving
If time permits, re-shelve books
Monday, July 20, 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Clean youth and choir room
Move counter tops from 1916 building to youth and choir room—attach to the wall
Attach lockers in chute hallway and then attach to the wall
If time permits, paint a primer on youth and choir walls
Monday, July 27, 4:00-8:00 P.M. (if needed)
Complete any tasks not already completed
VBS is the first week in August. It would be nice if all work will be completed
before August 1 so that VBS may be able to use all rooms as needed.
Contact the church office if you will be able to volunteer your time. Bring a
friend!

This is the home stretch. The end goal is in sight. July could bring several
projects to a successful end.

for the outpouring of help on moving day. What an awesome turn out! We moved the
whole school in less than six hours. This project took six years of
planning and one
year of construction. Now it's time to celebrate and give thanks to God.
